Responsibilities
- Manage and process monthly payroll for 3,000+ employees accurately and within deadlines
- Handle payroll calculations including basic salary, allowances, overtime, deductions, leave salary, end of service benefits, and final settlements
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, attendance, and timesheets
- Calculate annual leave, leave encashment, unpaid leave, sick leave, and other leave related entitlements
- Verify overtime records and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE Labour Law
- Coordinate with HR and project teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll inputs
- Prepare payroll reports, salary reconciliation statements, and management reports
- Process employee advances, loans, deductions, and reimbursements
- Ensure compliance with WPS requirements and statutory regulations
- Handle payroll related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with audits and provide payroll documentation as required
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and compensation information
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 5 years of UAE payroll experience, preferably in construction
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, leave entitlements, overtime calculations, gratuity, and final settlements
- Experience with payroll software, ERP systems, and MS Excel (advanced level preferred)
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving skills
