Responsibilities
- Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets and forecast
- Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost performance analysis
- Track project commitments, expenditures, and budget utilization
- Review subcontractor and supplier invoices and verify cost allocation
- Coordinate with Project, Planning, Procurement, and Commercial teams to ensure accurate cost reporting
- Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective action
- Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and change orders from a cost control perspective
- Support project forecasting and financial performance monitoring
- Maintain cost control records, databases, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the UAE as a Cost Control Engineer
- Mandatory experience within the Construction / Contracting industry
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and cost analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

About the Role
- We are looking for a skilled Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, preparing cost reports, analyzing budget performance, and supporting the effective financial management of construction projects.
