Administering weekly payroll and HR data for team members across a group of stores under multiple Collective Agreements, including processing weekly pay information, hires, terminations, transfers, and job changes.
Administering team member benefits including enrolments, changes, and cancellations.
Responding to inquiries from store payroll clerks, store managers, and team members regarding payroll and benefits matters.
Reviewing and preparing payment information for various annual payouts.
Merging and sending out documents using MS Word and Email.
Maintaining team member data in Workday.
Performing other duties as required.
1-3 years of office administration experience and a background in payroll and benefits is considered an asset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
An understanding of Employment Standards legislation and Collective Agreements.
Previous experience with store-level payroll is considered an asset.
Experience using Workday is considered an asset.
An excellent communicator with strong writing abilities and interpersonal skills.
A problem solver with the ability to think critically and identify exceptions and errors.
Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Focused on providing an excellent customer experience within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Able to maintain a high level of tact, diplomacy, and discretion in handling confidential information.
