About the Role
We are looking for a Payroll Accountant Assistant to assist in handling payroll processes, including processing payments, per diem, leave settlements, and off-cycle payments. The role requires coordination with HR and Treasury, and experience with SAP Payroll.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate approved payroll related reimbursement claims, loans, advances and annual benefit entitlements
- Process monthly regular payroll & payments of Nakilat, Joint Venture Companies and its Subsidiaries
- Process payroll payments of entire Seafarers by coordinating with Marine Personal Department and Treasury
- Track all types of employees' advances accurately and efficiently process applicable payments or deductions
- Continuously update and reconcile the general ledger with all posted payroll related financial transactions
- Calculate and generate pension fund transfers for Qataris and GCC Nationals
- Update and process applicable claims additional payments such as Air tickets, leave bonus etc. in SAP
- Coordinate with applicable stakeholders to calculate and process approved per diem and advance payments
- Execute internal orders to generate Invoices to Joint Venture Companies related Payroll and Time writing invoices
- Complete recording of expenses in SAP subject to amortization schedules
- Ensure monthly provisions are recorded in SAP related to employees End of Service Benefits
- Coordinate with HR/ER for preparation of draft final settlement and process final pay after approvals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance & accounting
- 2 3 years of related experience in a similar position, preferably in a similar industry
- Knowledge of SAP Payroll and SAP HR

Primary Functions

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance & accounting.
- 2 3 years of related experience in a similar position, preferably in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of SAP Payroll and SAP HR.
