Primary Functions
- The Maintenance Supervisor oversees a technical team of maintenance foremen and technicians to efficiently execute all maintenance work orders or job cards as directed by the Engineer/Planner.
- Ensures strict compliance with the SAP PM plan and addresses specific site requirements for maintenance tasks.
- Responsible for accurate data entry and completion of work orders.
Site Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of maintenance foremen and technicians.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
For Mobile Plant equipment and Utilities
- Maintain all Fixed equipment such as CNC Equipment, PLC based Equipment, Hydraulic Equipment, etc.
- Maintain all portable equipment such as welding machines, grinders, chipping guns, etc.
- Maintain mobile plant equipment such as forklifts, MEWPs, air compressors, generators, etc.
- Maintain equipment in all workshop facilities.
- Maintain all mechanical utilities in workshop facilities and exterior of the yard.
For Transportation and Lifting Equipment
- Maintain all lifting and transportation equipment such as electric overhead cranes, mobile cranes, crawler cranes, etc.
- Maintain all portable geared and powered lifting appliances such as electric hoists, chain hoists, hydraulic jacks, etc.
- Conduct TBT and work preparatory instructions to ensure compliance to QFAB's QHSES requirements.
- Facilitate PTW requirements, energy isolation, HIT card and relevant safety measures.
Maintenance Work Orders Execution
- Supervise timely and efficient execution of all maintenance work orders or job cards.
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed according to procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Record all manhours and resource utilization in SAP PM WO.
- Provide spare parts and external service requests to Maintenance Engineer.
- Submit work order completion report with findings, actions, and pending items.
Compliance with SAP PM Plan
- Enforce strict adherence to the SAP PM plan for maintenance activities.
- Monitor team performance to ensure compliance with work order requirements and deadlines.
Addressing Equipment Failures
- Utilize trade knowledge and technical skills to promptly attend to and resolve equipment failures.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Respond to breakdown notifications and address issues by troubleshooting and repair.
Data Entry and Completion
- Oversee accurate data entry and completion for work orders in SAP PM system.
- Conduct regular verification of work order data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Communication with work groups
- Engage with Production supervisor for equipment malfunction observations and cascade information.
- Coordinate with production supervisor to align equipment availability and utilization plan.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Diploma with relevant years of work experience (in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechatronics).
- 4+ Years of relevant industrial experience in the maintenance department.
