- Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and social media inquiries promptly and professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments accurately
- Send appointment reminders and follow up as needed
- Handle cancellations, no shows, and rescheduling efficiently
- Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Register new patients and maintain complete and accurate records
- Coordinate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow
- Process insurance approvals and follow up on pending requests
- Manage billing, payments, and receipts when required
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
- Keep the reception area organised and presentable
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Patient Care Coordinator or Dental Receptionist in a Private Dental Clinic
- Strong understanding of dental appointment scheduling and patient coordination
- Experience dealing and communicating effectively with patients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance processes, and clinic software
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast paced environment
