About the Role
City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel is seeking a creative, skilled, and experienced Pastry Chef for its hotel culinary team.
The role focuses on pastry production, bakery operations, desserts, presentation, and consistently delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and bakery products.
- Ensure pastry items meet hotel standards for quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Assist in developing new pastry and dessert concepts.
- Maintain food preparation, storage, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor ingredient quality, portion control, and wastage.
- Keep pastry equipment and work areas clean and properly maintained.
- Support buffet, à la carte, banquet, and special-event pastry operations.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and hotel hygiene standards at all times.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry, or Chef de Partie - Pastry in a hotel, resort, or reputable hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of pastry, bakery, cakes, desserts, and chocolate work.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
