Role Overview
City Centre Rotana Doha is seeking a passionate kitchen professional to deliver high standards of food preparation and guest service.
The Pastry Chef is responsible for daily pastry preparation and the operation of the pastry and bakery kitchen section.
Work Location
- The position is based at City Centre Rotana Doha in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the pastry and bakery kitchen section.
- Create high-quality and creative pastry products for customers.
- Follow instructions from immediate superiors and maintain consistent quality while keeping current with recipes and techniques.
- Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation and participate in pastry setup for buffets and special functions.
- Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage, requirements, and cost control.
- Check daily pastry requirements, functions, and last-minute events.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene within the pastry kitchen.
Education and Experience
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
