Role Overview
City Centre Rotana Doha is seeking a passionate kitchen professional to deliver high standards of food preparation and guest service.
The Chef de Partie is responsible for daily food preparation and assigned duties across kitchen sections.
Work Location
- The position is based at City Centre Rotana Doha in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily mise en place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellite kitchens.
- Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef and follow instructions from immediate superiors.
- Maintain consistent quality and stay current with products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
- Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation and participate in buffet and special-function setup and supervision.
- Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage, requirements, and cost control.
- Check daily requirements, functions, and last-minute events.
- Guide and train subordinates to support motivation and economical working practices.
Education and Experience
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
