Job Purpose

  • Drive and promote sales of parts in the field to achieve set sales and customer service targets.
  • Perform sales related activities such as making requisitions, order delivery and generating new business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare parts details, check availability, source unavailable parts locally or internationally.
  • Coordinate the supply of parts to ensure they are available on time.
  • Generate reports related to customer visits, sales achieved/lost and stock supply.
  • Prepare parts estimates and quotations to present formal offers.
  • Provide product information, technical advice and warranty policies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor and OEM pricing.
  • Assist in stock control to reduce slow moving and obsolete stock.
  • Generate monthly customer statement of accounts and follow up on payments.
  • Visit customers to build long term relationships and enhance sales opportunities.

Experience & Core Competencies

  • 3 years of minimum experience in Automotive Aftermarkets.
