Job Purpose

  • To drive spare parts sales by providing accurate parts identification, technical support, and responsive customer service. The role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating order fulfillment, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high levels of cust

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer and workshop inquiries, identify required spare parts, and provide accurate technical support using Parts Catalogs, EPC systems, and available technical references.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up offers, support negotiations, and ensure alignment with company pricing and profitability guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, workshops, fleet owners, and commercial accounts.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and stock control teams to ensure parts availability and timely delivery.
  • Follow up backorders, special orders, and pending deliveries until completion.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and return requests while ensuring proper resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product availability to support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to quotations, orders, deliveries, and backorders.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures related to pricing, discounts, and parts returns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in spare parts sales, parts coordination, or aftersales support, preferably within the marine, heavy equipment, or power generation industry.
  • Experience using Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC), ERP systems, and inventory management systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an advantage) and Microsoft Office.

  • Customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good technical knowledge of engines and spare parts.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive team player with a positive attitude and commitment to achieving results.
  • Sales negotiation and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
