Role overview
AWS is seeking an experienced Partner Development Manager for the ANZ Partner Organization.
The role focuses on consulting and technology partners in the Commercial segment across Australia and New Zealand.
The manager will own a partner portfolio and help make partners the default choice for customers adopting and growing on AWS.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute partner business strategies aligned with customer needs and AWS priorities.
- Build executive relationships and act as the primary contact for the partner portfolio.
- Create partner-attached pipeline with Commercial sales teams.
- Develop joint go-to-market plans for solutions, demand generation, and industry plays.
- Assess partner capabilities and guide investment in migration, modernization, and AI/ML.
- Report on partner performance, pipeline health, and business plan attainment.
- Champion engagement across sales, solutions architecture, and marketing.
- Mentor and develop colleagues within the partner organization.
Typical workday
- The day combines strategic partner engagement, pipeline reviews, customer calls, executive business reviews, go-to-market planning, sales coaching, and cross-functional deal coordination.
