Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day painting and coating activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications
- Plan and assign tasks to painting and insulation teams
- Monitor progress, coordinate materials and equipment, and resolve on site issues
- Inspect surfaces and finished work, implement quality control procedures, and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with project engineers, safety personnel, and clients
- Support continuous improvement in work methods, safety practices, and productivity
Requirements
- Strong supervisory skills including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring
- Technical skills related to paint and coatings: surface preparation, application methods, product selection
- Experience in insulation work including installation, inspection, and coordination with painting activities
- Quality control skills including inspection, documentation, and adherence to project standards
- Relevant experience in industrial or construction painting environments, preferably in energy or heavy industry
- Knowledge of safety regulations, PPE requirements, and safe work practices for painting and insulation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Effective communication and coordination skills for multicultural site based team environment
- Minimum vocational or technical qualification in painting, coatings, or related field; industry certifications (NACE, SSPC) are an advantage

Role Description
- This full time Painting Supervisor role is an on site position located in Ras Laffan.
- The Painting Supervisor oversees day to day painting and coating activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Responsibilities include planning and assigning tasks, monitoring progress, coordinating materials and equipment, and resolving on site issues.
- The role also involves inspecting surfaces and finished work, implementing quality control procedures, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with project engineers, safety personnel, and clients.
