About the Role
ViTO Energy Engineering and Construction seeks a Cost Control Lead for a site-based position in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The role involves budget management, cost analysis, and reporting for EPC projects in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and maintain cost control systems and procedures for ongoing projects
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts
- Extract reports from ERP systems, organize data in Excel, and prepare consolidated cost control reports
- Distribute project budgets across cost codes and ensure accurate allocation of costs
- Prepare and present cost reports, variance analyses, and cash flow projections to management
- Support project managers in identifying potential cost overruns and developing corrective action plans
- Review and validate purchase orders, subcontracts, invoices, and change orders for cost tracking
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, and finance teams to ensure consistent cost data
- Support monthly and quarterly financial closing activities, including cost accruals and reconciliations
- Assist in development of cost benchmarks, historical data, and lessons learned
- Develop and maintain cost and man hour information database and benchmarking data
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related) or Project Management
- 10+ years of experience in project cost control, cost allocation, estimating, and financial tracking, preferably within EPC Oil & Gas, refinery, or energy projects
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools
- ERP system experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Yapıtaşı ERP is a plus
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related) or Project Management.
- 10+ years of experience in project cost control, cost allocation, estimating, and financial tracking, preferably within EPC Oil & Gas, refinery, or energy projects.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools; ERP system experience highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Yapıtaşı ERP is a plus.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
