Key skills for this role
About the Role
A global crypto exchange seeks a P2P Product Manager to own the peer-to-peer trading journey, improve completion rate, reduce dispute friction, and build merchant segmentation.
Key Skills for This Role
Responsibilities
- Own the P2P trading journey across matching, ad ranking, price discovery, release flow, and dispute handling, with clear accountability for completion rate, dispute rate, and average trade time
- Build the merchant segmentation system across onboarding, tiering, deposits, KYB, incentives, commissions, and risk controls
- Partner with risk, compliance, and support to redesign anti fraud and dispute workflows across account farming, money laundering, frozen cards, third party payment fraud, and similar abuse patterns
- Drive new market and payment method launches with localization, compliance, and BD teams, from prioritization through post launch penetration
- Build the data loops that reveal abnormal orders, user drop off, merchant behavior shifts, and product gaps before they become structural problems
Requirements
- You do not learn a market only from dashboards; you will open competitor accounts, complete real P2P orders, sit in merchant groups, speak with support, and trace why one ugly dispute happened
- You have owned marketplace, payment, trading, risk, or dispute products where incentives, abuse, liquidity, and user experience had to be balanced in the same decision
- You can make grey zone product calls when compliance, risk, and growth pull in different directions, then explain the tradeoff clearly enough for teams to move
- You treat bad actors as part of the operating system, not an exception, and can tighten controls without killing legitimate user flow
- You have worked on crypto exchange P2P, OTC, cross border payments, acquiring, consumer finance risk, ecommerce dispute handling, or anti fraud products

About the company
- We are a global crypto exchange building the next generation of digital asset access.
- Our products connect millions of users with trading, payments, and wealth tools across global markets.
- The team operates with high autonomy, clear ownership, and a bias toward people who can turn ambiguous business problems into durable product systems.
About This Role
- P2P is one of the most important fiat on ramp channels in crypto, and the product has already moved past the basic stage.
- The next challenge is harder: deeper liquidity, better merchant quality, faster dispute handling, and a trading experience that works across very different local payment markets.
- You will take a product that users can already use and make it the product they choose first.
- You should have improved completion rate, reduced dispute friction, raised merchant quality, and built a repeatable playbook for new fiat markets.

Strong to haves
- You understand local payment behavior in emerging markets, including why users and merchants route around formal product design
- You have built merchant, seller, or agent ecosystems where incentives and enforcement had to evolve together
