About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT Consultant) to provide high-quality clinical services in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing ENT surgeries, managing clinical risks, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional duties of Otorhinolaryngology including various ENT/Head and Neck Surgeries
- Provide consultation to other physicians when problems fall into the field of ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgery
- Complete medical records promptly indicating diagnosis, treatment, and future courses of action
- Participate in group conferences regarding difficult medical cases
- Collaborate with other departmental personnel in planning programs integrating curative and preventive aspects of patient care
- Monitor work of other assigned staff to the Otorhinolaryngology Service for quality and correctness
- Attend staff meetings and participate in in service activities
- Support Continuous Quality Improvement
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and administrative matters
- Comply with OSH instructions, policies, and safe working procedures
Requirements
- Qualified and licensed Medical Practitioner
- At least 3 5 years post qualification experience at consultant level
- At least 1 year Consultant level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator
- Basic medical degree and completion of higher education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)

Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems
- Comply with reasonable OSH instructions, policies and safe working procedures.
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone’s health and safety.
- Assist with the preparation of risk assessments.
- Report OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues.
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycling of waste as much as possible.
- Attend all OSH Trainings, awareness programs and mock drills.
- Participates in the OSHMS audits, inspections, ensuring standards are maintained.
Prevention and Control of Infection (PCI)
- PCI is everyone’s responsibility. All staff are required to read and implement the NMC PCI Policy and Strategy.
- The strictest hand hygiene, 5 moments of hand hygiene, bare below the elbows and environmental care will be expected.
Qualifications
- Qualified and licensed Medical Practitioner.
- At least 3 5 years’ post qualification experience at consultant level (independent of country).
- At least 1 year Consultant level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
- Basic medical degree and completion of higher education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
- Certification and registration in a specialty recognized by relevant UAE healthcare authority.
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
