Full-time in-room dining role at NH Collection Dubai The Palm.
Receive and process guest orders accurately while providing warm and professional service.
Coordinate with the kitchen and in-room dining team to meet guest expectations and hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer in-room dining calls and enter food and beverage orders accurately into the POS system.
- Maintain knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparation methods, promotions, and operating hours.
- Provide recommendations, promote menu items, and apply appropriate upselling techniques.
- Record and communicate dietary requirements, allergies, special requests, quantities, delivery times, and charges.
- Coordinate order preparation and delivery, monitor pending orders, and follow up to avoid delays.
- Handle inquiries and feedback professionally, escalating concerns to a supervisor or manager when needed.
- Process guest bills, maintain accurate records, and ensure effective communication between shifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage, In-Room Dining, Room Service, Guest Services, or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong guest-service orientation with a friendly and professional approach.
- Good knowledge of Food & Beverage products and service standards.
- Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take and process orders accurately.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
