Role Overview
The Bellman provides a warm arrival and departure experience by assisting guests with luggage, transportation, and general requests.
The role supports high service standards at NH Collection Dubai The Palm.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests upon arrival and departure.
- Assist with luggage during check-in, check-out, and room changes.
- Escort guests to rooms and explain basic hotel facilities and services.
- Handle and store guest luggage safely and accurately.
- Arrange taxis and transportation when required.
- Deliver guest items, messages, parcels, and requested materials promptly.
- Maintain clean and organized entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, restaurants, local attractions, and transportation.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments.
- Handle guest requests and concerns courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and behavior.
- Follow safety, security, and guest confidentiality procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous Bellman or guest-facing hotel experience is preferred.
- A friendly, energetic, and service-oriented personality is required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Candidates must be physically fit and able to handle guest luggage safely.
- Knowledge of Dubai and local attractions is advantageous.
- Fluent English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
