Responsibilities
- Own the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) track and drive project phases: Cloud Map, CRP, design, build, testing, cut over, go live support
- Configure OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning, Rate Management, Fleet Management, Freight Settlement, Track & Trace, Carrier Management
- Design integrations with legacy and third party systems using OIC or OTM's native XML/Web Services framework
- Deliver RTM, To Be design, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts, DS030, AN100, and OTM solution design specifications
- Work closely with offshore functional and technical teams to track deliverables and issues
- Configure OTM Rate Management parameters including rate records, rate offerings, rate geo hierarchy, accessorial charges, lane based rates, contract rates, and spot buy integration
- Validate transportation master data migrated from legacy systems into OTM Cloud
- Design and deliver customer facing and carrier facing documents using OTM's document generation framework
- Design and deliver Train the Trainer plan for OTM module users
- Design OTM related OTBI and BI Publisher reports for freight spend analysis, carrier performance, etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementation and configuration
- Ability to configure OTM modules: Order Management, Shipment Planning, Rate Management, Fleet Management, Freight Settlement, Track & Trace, Carrier Management
- Experience with OTM integration using OIC, EDI/API, or XML/Web Services
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with OTBI and BI Publisher report design

Job Summary
- The consultant should be able to own the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) track and drive various phases of the project such as Cloud Map, CRP, design, build, testing, cut over and go live support.
- Must display competency and should be able to configure the OTM modules (Order Management, Shipment Planning, Rate Management, Fleet Management, Freight Settlement, Track & Trace, Carrier Management, etc.).
- Candidate must be a problem solver with good analytical and communication skills, capable of translating complex transportation and logistics business requirements into OTM configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with offshore functional and technical teams to keep track of project deliverables, open issues, and milestone adherence across the OTM workstream.
- Own deliverables like RTM, To Be design, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts, DS030, AN100, and OTM transportation solution design specifications.
- Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and other dependent departments and client side roles.
- Configure OTM Rate Management parameters including rate records, rate offerings, rate geo hierarchy, accessorial charges, lane based rates, contract rates, and spot buy integration.
- Work closely with the Project Manager on both Cognizant and Client sides, as well as with other functional consultants across Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Finance workstreams.
- Design integrations with legacy and third party systems such as ERP, WMS, carrier EDI/API platforms, customs/trade compliance systems, and telematics/GPS track & trace providers using OIC or OTM's native XML/Web Services framework.
- Validate transportation master data migrated from legacy systems into OTM Cloud, performing data reconciliation for locations, equipment groups, carrier profiles, etc.
- Configure end to end shipment planning parameters including bulk planning, continuous move planning, shipment consolidation rules, stop sequencing, load configuration, delivery appointment scheduling, and carrier selection logic.
- Coordinate with Order Management, Procurement, and Warehouse Management consultants for cross module process alignment.
- Design and deliver customer facing and carrier facing documents such as Bill of Lading, Freight Invoice, Shipment Manifest, Delivery Order, Packing List, and carrier tender notifications.
- Design and deliver the Train the Trainer plan and schedule for all OTM module users.
- Design OTM related OTBI reports and BI Publisher reports as per business requirements.
