We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Oracle Financial Functional Consultant
to support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Oracle ERP Financial solutions.
The role requires strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials, deep understanding of finance operations, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective ERP solutions aligned with operational and financial objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion ERP Financials and/or Oracle EBS R12 Financials, with proven expertise across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles.
Arabic language capability is mandatory to support business communication and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance and accounting processes
- Configure and support Oracle Financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- Support end-to-end Oracle ERP Financial implementations, upgrades, and post-go-live support activities
- Manage functional activities across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business cycles
- Design and validate Chart of Accounts (COA), enterprise structure, and multi-org setup configurations
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, financial controls, reconciliation, and reporting processes
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical and integration teams
- Coordinate system testing, configuration validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities
- Support data migration, data upload activities, and troubleshooting using FBDI, CSV, flat files, and related tools
- Work closely with technical consultants on integrations, custom reports, workflows, and customizations
- Provide production support, issue resolution, ticket handling, and root cause analysis for finance-related ERP issues
- Conduct user training sessions and prepare functional documentation, user guides, and process flow documents
- Ensure system configurations comply with accounting standards, internal controls, and segregation of duties requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and successful business adoption
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials consulting
- Strong experience in Oracle Fusion ERP Financials implementation and support projects
- Experience in Oracle EBS R12 Financials is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- Strong accounting and finance process knowledge with practical business exposure
- Proven experience in at least 3 full lifecycle Oracle ERP Financial implementations
- Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, and Expenses modules
- Experience with enterprise structure setup, multi-org architecture, and financial controls
- Strong understanding of month-end close procedures, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Experience in data migration, cutover planning, and production support activities
- Familiarity with integrations, interfaces, and ERP architecture decisions
- Knowledge of Tax Configuration, Project Accounting (PA), Revenue Recognition, or Advanced Receivables is an advantage
- Understanding of Oracle security roles, data security, and segregation of duties concepts
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory
