Role Overview
The Senior Oracle Applications Forward Deployed Engineer delivers GenAI-enabled solutions through client-facing engineering and pod-based delivery.
The role supports Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice and AI and Data offering.
Client Engagement
- Identify client business needs and translate high-value GenAI use cases into solutions.
- Partner with leaders, product owners, architects, and engineers to align delivery.
- Lead working sessions and redesign processes using AI and automation.
- Prototype solutions, coach client teams, manage expectations, and support long-term engagement success.
- Support sales and delivery with demos, proofs of concept, proposals, orals, and handoff documentation.
Solution Engineering
- Build multi-agent systems across HR, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and shared-services domains.
- Develop scalable AI patterns, tool-use approaches, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Balance quality, safety, latency, cost, and model risk in architecture decisions.
- Deliver production-quality code with testing, CI/CD, logging, versioning, and documentation.
- Create reusable code, prompt libraries, runbooks, and reference implementations.
- Build AI agents that operate across Oracle ERP, HCM, EBS, PeopleSoft, and related applications.
