Duties and Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for the quality of care provided to all patients.
Adhere to high standards of clinical practice, ethics, and professionalism.
Perform complete eye examinations and contact lens fittings.
Participate in supervision of the optometry practice and dispensary with departmental leadership.
Maintain current knowledge of new optometry techniques and clinical philosophies.
Participate in quality assurance, provider, and general staff meetings.
Assist with medical policies, quality improvement procedures, and practice evaluations.
Maintain knowledge of operating procedures and new equipment maintenance.
Follow international guidelines, DHA regulations, and Joint Commission International norms.

Qualifications, Licensure, Education, and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Optometry or an equivalent diploma is required.
At least two years of experience is required.
A current license in the country of origin and a DHA license to practice in Dubai are required.
Fluent spoken and written English is required.
Arabic language skills are desirable but not essential.
