Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver training to EGA employees in respective operation areas.
- Coordinate with Area Supervisors to assess training needs and delivery schedule.
- Verify the effectiveness of training through surveys and interviews.
- Control and monitor trainees’ absenteeism, performance, and discipline.
- Prepare technical documents, texts, presentations, and hand outs for training.
- Update trainees’ profiles and develop training procedures and materials.
- Ensure compliance of training programs with EGA EHSFS standards and accreditation criteria.
- Hold meetings with trainees, mentors, and departmental line supervisors.
- Complete progress reports and communicate achievements to departmental management.
- Assist in developing programme content and assessment criteria.
Requirements
- Experience in planning and delivering training in an operational or industrial environment.
- Ability to assess training needs and coordinate with area supervisors.
- Knowledge of document control procedures and training material development.
- Familiarity with EHS standards and accreditation criteria (e.g., ISO, C&G, ILM).
- Strong communication and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Plans and delivers training to EGA employees in respective operation areas and coordinates with Area Supervisors to assess training needs and delivery schedule.
- Verifies the effectiveness of training through surveys, one to one interviews with customers and trainees, comparing programs to standards set as per accreditation bodies.
- Controls and monitors trainees’ absenteeism, performance, and discipline according to EGA policies and procedures.
- Coordinates with Operations personnel to follow up on employees’ progress and behaviour.
- Prepares technical documents, texts, presentations and hand outs for Plant employees assigned on training courses or involved in on the job training.
- Updates trainees’ profiles as per procedures for document control.
- Develops and updates training procedures and materials in line with the latest process, equipment and technological changes.
- Ensures compliance of training programs, trainees, and facilities to EGA EHSFS standards, all international standards (ISO), and accreditation criteria (C&G and ILM).
- Holds meetings with trainees, mentors and departmental line supervisors as required.
- Completes progress reports and communicates the academic, technical and on the job training achievements to departmental management.
- Assists in the development of programme content and assessment criteria to meet specific departmental requirements and those of external bodies.
- Performs other duties, as and when required by the department.
