Job Purpose
Monitor and control process parameters for various plants from the Control Centre.
Take quick and safe corrective actions during process upsets or emergencies according to standing instructions.
Manage well pad and plant operations, maintenance, turnaround, start-up, and troubleshooting activities.
Job-Specific Accountabilities
- Monitor oil, gas, utilities, and plant operations and recommend improvements to meet production and water-injection targets.
- Coordinate surface facilities, wellhead, flow line, track, transfer line, casing repair, and well handover activities.
- Monitor fire and gas panels and coordinate plant protection system fault rectification.
- Respond to emergencies, safely shut down affected plant areas, and restore normal operations.
- Initiate maintenance requests, follow up work permits, and coordinate equipment isolation and return to service.
- Communicate field parameter variations, alarms, and abnormalities to production personnel.
Policies and Improvement
- Implement relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operating procedures and functional processes.
