About the Role
AD Ports Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator to assist in efficient operation and maintenance of port machinery and equipment. The role involves pre/post operational safety checks, operating various equipment, and ensuring smooth loading/discharging operations.

Responsibilities
- Participate in routine pre and post operational safety checks over various port/terminal equipment
- Operate port/terminal machinery and equipment efficiently to contribute to smooth flow of cargo and port operations
- Assist in inspecting condition of terminal equipment including ITV, forklifts, Reach stackers, RTG and Bobcat, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance team
- Maintain constant radio/communications with all personnel assisting with loading/discharge of cargo
- Maintain documentation and accurate records of equipment operation and maintenance activities
- Ensure all port/terminal operations comply with quality standards, safety regulations and industry specific requirements
Requirements
- High School certificate; Diploma is a plus
- Valid U.A.E. Heavy Machinery License
- Minimum 2 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in operating ports equipment and machinery in a ports industry
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent English; Arabic is an added advantage

Job Description
- Assist in the efficient operation and maintenance of various machinery and equipment aiming to have smooth loading/discharging operations in the specified port/terminal.
Core Responsibilities
- Participate in the routine pre and post operational safety check over various port/terminal equipment for loading and unloading of cargo from ships, barges, rail, and trucks to ensure efficient flow of port activities.
- Operate the port/terminal various machinery and equipment efficiently to contribute to the smooth flow of cargo and port operations.
- Assist in inspecting the condition of all terminal equipment including ITV, forklifts, Reach stackers, RTG and Bobcat, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance team for repairs and upgrades to ensure the safety of equipment and cargo.
- Maintain constant radio/communications with all personnel assisting with the loading/discharge of the cargo.
- Maintain documentation and accurate records of equipment operation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all port/terminal operations comply with quality standards, safety regulations and industry specific requirements.
Qualifications
- High School certificate. Diploma is a plus
- Valid U.A.E. Heavy Machinery License.
- Technical certification in port operations is an advantage.
- Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
- A minimum of 2 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in operating ports equipment and machinery in a ports industry.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Leadership, training and mentorship.
- Thorough knowledge of port safety regulations.
- Passion for and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with partners at all levels across various functions of the organization.
