Responsibilities
- Operate wheel loader / forklift safely and effectively to meet client requirements
- Conduct pre operational checks to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating parts and checking hydraulic systems
- Report malfunctions or defects to supervisor for timely repairs
- Determine load weight and dimensions and position loads precisely
- Rig loads properly using slings, hooks, or other lifting devices
- Lift and move loads to specified locations with precision
- Maintain communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios
- Follow instructions from truck pushers and supervisors
- Adhere to safety protocols and use stop work authority when necessary
- Complete operation time sheets and obtain client approval
- Monitor fuel usage and ensure equipment is secured when unattended

Job Purpose
- Operate loading equipment in a safe and effective manner to deliver upon client and/or AMHEC requirements and minimize risk of property damage, injury, or loss of life.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate different types of wheel loader / forklift depending on job requirements.
- Understand and follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct pre operational checks on the wheel loader / forklift.
- Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating parts, checking hydraulic systems, and replacing worn out components.
- Report any malfunctions or defects to supervisor for timely repairs.
- Determine weight and dimensions of loads and position them precisely.
- Rig loads properly using slings, hooks, or other lifting devices.
- Lift and move loads to specified locations with precision.
- Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios.
- Follow instructions from truck pushers and supervisors.
- Adhere to AMHEC’s policies, procedures, and safe work instructions.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the operating area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hands on experience operating wheel loaders and forklifts.
- Possess necessary licenses and certifications.
- Preferably with previous work experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, or related field.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills.
Working Conditions
- Nature of work may require working beyond standard working hours.
- Travel up to 90% within Saudi Arabia to sites, yards, and branches.
- Maintain physical fitness and agility to operate controls effectively.
