About the Role
Halliburton is hiring an Operator Assistant II for Wireline and Perforating services in Abu Dhabi. The role involves rigging up/down well logging equipment, assembling tools, and performing maintenance.

- Assist during rigging up and rigging down of surface and down hole well logging equipment
- Assist during operation of well logging equipment at job site

- Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on down hole and surface well logging equipment
- Assist in pre and post job vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork
- Promote safety awareness and comply with HSE regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or similar education
- 3 6 months of experience as Operator Assistant I or 1 year of related work experience in oil field service (rig operations)
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills
- Knowledge of basic HMS and HSE standards
- Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required
- Successful completion of Well Control Accreditation Program may be required
- Successful completion of water survival training may be required

Job Duties
- Under strict supervision, assists during rigging up and rigging down of surface and down hole well logging equipment on work locations.
- Assists during the rigging up and rigging down of surface and down hole well logging equipment including electric, nuclear, sonic, other well logging tools, and pressure control equipment.
- Assists during the operation of well logging equipment at job site.
- Assembles down hole well logging tools (electric, nuclear, sonic, and other well logging tools).
- Assists on Maintains, cleans and performs preventative maintenance on down hole and surface well logging equipment.
- Assists in the performance of pre and post job vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports.
Qualifications
- Skills are typically acquired through successful completion of high school or similar education and 3 6 months of experience as an Operator Assistant L&P, I or 1 year of related work experience in oil field service (rig operations).
- Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required in certain locations.
- Successful completion of Well Control Accreditation Program may be required.
- Successful completion of water survival training may be required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of basic HMS and HSE standards, and guidelines for PSL personnel.
