About the Role
SmartChoice International GCC seeks an Operations Technician to provide hands-on technical support across live training environments and virtual delivery platforms in the META region.

Responsibilities
- Support the setup and operation of technology solutions for regional events.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, and Wi Fi equipment.
- Install and support AV systems including projectors, conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms, Zoom, Webex), microphones and displays.
- Provide onsite technical support during live training sessions.
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and endpoint devices.
- Support user administration, device configuration, onboarding/offboarding, and asset management.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and general network issues.
- Manage incidents, service requests, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Experience supporting IT operations, technical environments, or event technology.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, and AV systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and identity/access management.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi Fi).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support technical and non technical users.

Compensation
- Salary up to AED 20,000 per month.
