Job Description
We are seeking an experienced **Operations Manager** with a strong background in **food service and restaurant operations** to oversee and optimize the day-to-day performance of our outlets.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing teams, controlling costs, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
This role is suited for a results-driven professional who understands both front-of-house and back-of-house operations and can lead teams to deliver consistent service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant/food service operations across assigned outlets
- Ensure compliance with company standards, SOPs, and food safety regulations
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, training, and performance
- Control food cost, labor cost, inventory, and wastage
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability
- Coordinate with kitchen, service, and support teams to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues professionally
- Support openings of new outlets or concepts when required
- Prepare regular operational reports for management
Requirements
- Minimum **5 years experience** in food service or restaurant operations (multi-outlet experience preferred)
- Proven experience as an **Operations Manager / Restaurant Manager / Area Manager**
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations, cost control, and hygiene standards
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Good organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets
- **Must be currently based in Qatar**
- Arabic is a plus; English is mandatory
