Job Purpose

Operations Management

• Manage day-to-day activities across production, maintenance, quality, and related support functions.
• Execute operational plans against approved schedules, targets, and business priorities.
• Monitor productivity, delivery, quality, cost, safety, downtime, and operational performance.
• Coordinate internal departments to align operations with business requirements.

Production and Delivery

• Follow up on production progress, output targets, delivery timelines, and effective use of manpower, machines, materials, and capacity.
• Resolve operational bottlenecks, delays, and resource constraints.
• Monitor performance indicators for productivity, efficiency, downtime, quality, safety, and cost.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance

• Ensure operations comply with quality standards, safety requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Promote a safe working environment and implement health and safety practices.
• Follow up on quality issues, non-conformities, corrective actions, housekeeping, workplace discipline, and 5S practices.

Resources and Improvement

• Manage operational resources and costs to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Support budget planning and reduce waste, rework, downtime, and unnecessary expenses.
• Identify and lead improvements to operational processes, workflow, productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply-chain teams to improve reliability.

Team Management and Reporting

• Manage and guide operations teams, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and support team development.
• Prepare operational reports, performance updates, and improvement recommendations for management.
• Communicate operational priorities, challenges, and progress to relevant stakeholders.

Business Accountability

• Recruit, recognize, develop, and manage performance of team members while supporting a second line of management.
• Take responsibility for operational deliverables, anticipate problems, and make timely decisions.
• Transform corporate goals into business plans, monitor results, and initiate corrective actions.
• Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve cost efficiency.

Organization and Processes

• Develop organizational structures and ensure job descriptions are available for required roles.
• Develop written systems, policies, and procedures and identify automation opportunities.
• Promote use of relevant IT solutions and adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and legally compliant work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
• At least 12 years of work experience.
• Technical or functional competence in operations management, operations planning, and operations research.
• Experience managing teams, business plans, budgets, process improvement, and operational performance.
