Job Brief

  • We are seeking an experienced and results driven Operations Manager to lead the overall operations, profitability, business development, and strategic growth of a valve service workshop in Abu Dhabi.
  • The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality repair, maintenance, testing, refurbishment, and field service operations while driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in valve maintenance and service operations, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing workshop operations, business development, and customer relationships within the Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Industrial sectors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the workshop's annual business plan and growth strategy.
  • Establish short term and long term objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Drive business expansion and market penetration within the Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Industrial sectors.
  • Identify new opportunities for maintenance contracts, shutdown projects, and valve service agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with ADNOC, EPC contractors, end users, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate major service contracts.
  • Develop partnerships with valve manufacturers and OEMs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets.
  • Oversee all workshop and field service activities.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and operational resources.
  • Monitor job execution from quotation through completion and invoicing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • MBA will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in valve maintenance, repair, testing, and service operations.
  • Minimum 5 10 years of experience in a senior management position.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial valves, actuators, safety valves, and control valves.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Experience in business development and commercial management.
  • Financial management and budget control expertise.
  • Strong workshop operations management experience.
  • Customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and commercial discussions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
