Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the workshop's annual business plan and growth strategy.
- Drive business expansion and market penetration within Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Industrial sectors.
- Build strong relationships with ADNOC, EPC contractors, end users, and consultants.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiate major service contracts.
- Oversee all workshop and field service activities, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
- Monitor job execution from quotation through completion and invoicing.
- Manage workshop budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and customer requirements.
- Lead and develop workshop managers, engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
- Maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, resolving critical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience in valve maintenance, repair, testing, and service operations
- Minimum 5 10 years in a senior management position
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves, actuators, safety valves, and control valves
- Leadership and strategic planning skills

Job Purpose
- The Operation Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, profitability, business development, operational excellence, and strategic growth of the valve service workshop.
- The role ensures safe, efficient, and high quality repair, maintenance, testing, refurbishment, and field service operations while driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the workshop's annual business plan and growth strategy.
- Establish short and long term objectives aligned with company goals.
- Drive business expansion and market penetration within Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Industrial sectors.
- Identify new opportunities for maintenance contracts, shutdown projects, and valve service agreements.
- Build strong relationships with ADNOC, EPC contractors, end users, and consultants.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiate major service contracts.
- Develop partnerships with valve manufacturers and OEMs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets.
- Oversee all workshop and field service activities.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
- Monitor job execution from quotation through completion and invoicing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in valve maintenance, repair, testing, and service operations.
- Minimum 5 10 years in a senior management position.
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves, actuators, safety valves, and control valves.
