Job Purpose

  • The Operation Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, profitability, business development, operational excellence, and strategic growth of the valve service workshop.
  • The role ensures safe, efficient, and high quality repair, maintenance, testing, refurbishment, and field service operations while driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the workshop's annual business plan and growth strategy.
  • Establish short and long term objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Drive business expansion and market penetration within Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Industrial sectors.
  • Identify new opportunities for maintenance contracts, shutdown projects, and valve service agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with ADNOC, EPC contractors, end users, and consultants.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate major service contracts.
  • Develop partnerships with valve manufacturers and OEMs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets.
  • Oversee all workshop and field service activities.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
  • Monitor job execution from quotation through completion and invoicing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in valve maintenance, repair, testing, and service operations.
  • Minimum 5 10 years in a senior management position.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial valves, actuators, safety valves, and control valves.
