Overall Purpose of the Job
Manage the smooth and efficient running of operations for one or more product lines in the assigned area.
Plan, direct, organize, and source manpower and equipment so client operational activity is completed effectively.
Monitor performance, implement improvements, achieve business goals, and maintain expenditure within budget.
Operations and Service Delivery
- Ensure operations are professional, efficient, safe, and cost effective while delivering quality client service.
- Maintain equipment, plant, and substances in suitable working order through regular maintenance and servicing.
- Monitor department performance and identify service quality improvements.
- Liaise with operational supervisors and coordinators on project progress, problems, and client performance indicators.
- Keep scheduling, planning, and forward workload forecasts updated for optimum resource use.
- Review operational requirements and propose capital expenditure to support future business needs.
