Overall Purpose of the Job
Manage the smooth and efficient running of product-line operations in the assigned area.
Plan and resource manpower and equipment so client operational activities are completed effectively.
Monitor performance and implement improvements to achieve operational efficiency, customer focus, and agreed business goals.
Maintain expenditure in line with budget.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Ensure operations are professional, efficient, safe, cost-effective, and aligned with client service requirements.
- Ensure equipment, plant, and substances are suitable and maintained in good working order.
- Monitor service quality, identify improvement areas, and discuss recommendations with management.
- Coordinate with supervisors and coordinators on project progress, issues, and performance indicators.
- Maintain workload scheduling, planning, forecasting, and resource utilization.
- Review operational requirements and propose capital expenditure when needed.
- Ensure timely invoicing and resolution of payment queries.
- Control operational documentation and communicate procedure changes to supervisors and crews.
- Report and investigate incidents and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
