Role overview

Key activities and accountabilities

• Produce engineering documentation and check compliance with industry standards and company policies and procedures.
• Record engineering documents in the PDM system and configure them as required.
• Participate in engineering meetings with internal and external parties.
• Upload information to engineering databases and use technical software packages as required.
• Coordinate with technical departments to confirm calculations and analysis are fit for purpose.
• Manage project interfaces with third-party suppliers to ensure delivery and agreed work standards.
• Perform project trials or simulations as required.
• Keep up to date with advances in technology and methodology.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments to resolve questions and queries, escalating concerns to the manager.

Job knowledge and qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of work experience within a related industry.
• Proficiency in technical software packages such as Inventor or SolidWorks.
