Operations Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead factory production and site installation from manufacturing through delivery, installation, and project completion.
• Develop production plans and schedules aligned with project priorities, capacity, site needs, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate joinery, furniture, metal fabrication, CNC, finishing, assembly, signage, exhibition, fit-out, and installation workflows.
• Coordinate production, planning, projects, procurement, supply chain, quality, HSE, maintenance, logistics, design, engineering, and site teams.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, materials, production capacity, and factory resources.
• Monitor bottlenecks, delays, material shortages, rework, quality issues, manpower constraints, and capacity limitations.
• Track KPIs covering productivity, capacity, wastage, quality, HSE, cost, schedules, installation, and delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement, cost control, standards development, reporting, and operational team management.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in production, manufacturing, or operations.
• At least 3 years in a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience in project-based manufacturing such as fit-out, joinery, exhibitions, signage, metal fabrication, or furniture.
• Expertise in production planning, capacity planning, quality, productivity improvement, site installation, and project delivery.
• Ability to coordinate HSE, quality, maintenance, logistics, planning, installation, and operational support functions.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, production planning tools, and operational performance reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale joinery, furniture, metal fabrication, signage, exhibition, or fit-out operations.
• Understanding of CNC, woodworking, metal fabrication, finishing, furniture, signage, assembly, and installation processes.
• Experience with factory-to-site operations, including dispatch, logistics, site readiness, snagging, and handover.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methods.
• Engineering or Industrial Engineering background is preferred.
