About the Role
DGL Clearing & Forwarding LLC is seeking an Operations Executive to manage end-to-end import and export operations for sea and air shipments in Abu Dhabi. The role requires 2-5 years of freight operations experience, knowledge of UAE customs, and strong coordination skills.

Responsibilities
- Handle end to end import and export operations for sea and air shipments
- Coordinate bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents
- Prepare and verify shipping documents
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies
- Coordinate with customs clearance teams and ensure documentation compliance
- Act as primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment updates
- Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors where applicable
- Monitor operational costs and ensure profitability of shipments
- Maintain accurate operational records and MIS reports
- Update shipment details in freight management systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2 5 years of experience in sea and air freight operations
- Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight processes
- Familiarity with UAE customs procedures
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems

Job Description
- Handle end to end import and export operations for sea and air shipments
- Coordinate bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents

- Ensure adherence to UAE customs regulations, trade compliance, and company SOPs
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment updates
- Liaise with transporters, warehouses, airlines, shipping lines, and agents
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and service recovery professionally
- Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors where applicable
- Monitor operational costs and ensure profitability of shipments
- Maintain accurate operational records and MIS reports
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in sea and air freight operations (Abu Dhabi experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight processes
- Familiarity with UAE customs procedures
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems
