Responsibilities
- Dismantle and reassemble furniture such as beds, wardrobes, cabinets, desks, and partitions
- Perform minor repairs to wooden furniture damaged during moving
- Pack and secure furniture for safe transportation
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Load and unload furniture while maintaining quality standards
- Coordinate with movers, drivers, and supervisors to complete relocation jobs on time
- Ensure customer property is handled carefully and professionally
- Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a moving or furniture company
- Knowledge of furniture assembly and disassembly techniques
- Ability to use carpentry hand tools and power tools
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items
- Basic communication skills in English or Hindi
- Team oriented with a focus on customer service
- ITI/Diploma in Carpentry or related trade (preferred)
- UAE/GCC experience is an advantage
- Experience in furniture installation, joinery, or fit out works (preferred)
