The company operates wholesale data centers providing power supply and cooling services across the UAE and wider Middle East and North Africa region.
Role Overview
The Operations Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of data center facilities.
The role manages hard services, coordinates soft and specialist services, supports vendor management, and maintains compliance with QHSE standards.
Safety and Compliance
- Comply with safety, quality, environmental, and operational policies and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforce health and safety policies, conduct audits and risk assessments, and report incidents and near misses.
- Stop unsafe work and support incident investigation, sustainability compliance, and environmental best practices.
Facility Operations and Maintenance
- Maintain HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, building fabric, and other data center facility equipment.
- Monitor utilities and waste and support efficient resource management.
- Oversee shift operations, maintain infrastructure reliability, and escalate high-risk situations to senior engineers.
