Operations Engineer - interior and fitout

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out projects.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and project specifications before execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, authority regulations, and client requirements.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily and weekly work updates.
• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery with purchasing and stores teams.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate approvals and inspections with consultants, clients, and authorities.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Support as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
• Monitor timelines and assist in achieving milestones within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction.
• Strong knowledge of gypsum, joinery, MEP coordination, and finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and site management ability.

Compensation

• The stated pay is AED 4,500 to AED 5,000 per month.

Workplace

• The work location is in person.
