This is a 24-month contract opportunity to join Pepper Money's Risk and Compliance team as Manager, Operational Risk.

Working closely with business leaders across the organisation, you'll provide Line 2 oversight and practical risk partnering to help identify, assess and manage operational risks.

You'll challenge thinking constructively, strengthen controls, support effective risk management practices and help foster a strong risk culture that enables the business to achieve its objectives safely and responsibly.

• Partner with business teams to identify, assess and manage operational risks
• Facilitate risk and control assessments and provide constructive challenge to strengthen risk outcomes
• Support incident, issue and remediation management, including root cause analysis
• Provide risk input into projects and change initiatives to ensure risks are identified and managed early
• Analyse risk data and trends to deliver meaningful insights and reporting
• Support the ongoing maintenance and quality of risk information within governance, risk and compliance systems
• Build risk capability across the business through coaching, guidance and stakeholder engagement
• Promote a strong risk culture and reinforce accountability for risk ownership

About you

You're a collaborative and commercially minded risk professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing positive outcomes.

You can balance oversight with pragmatism, communicate confidently with a range of audiences and use data and insights to support sound decision-making.

You'll be comfortable providing constructive challenge while building trusted relationships across the business.
