- Manage and coordinate maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks
- Oversee the budget for maintenance operations, optimizing resource allocation and cost effectiveness
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to align maintenance activities with overall organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers
- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life
- Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, budget, and performance to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure maintenance operations, with a proven track record of success
- Strong project management skills with proficiency in relevant software and tools
- In depth knowledge of infrastructure maintenance systems and best practices
- Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
- Excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in performance monitoring and reporting
- Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Facilities Management are preferred
- Experience managing large scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable
