Role Overview
The Operations Manager oversees and optimizes daily operations across all companies under Margin Plus Management.
The role includes planning, coordinating, and managing group participation in exhibitions, pop-ups, activations, and corporate or public events across Qatar.
The successful candidate should be a hands-on leader able to manage multi-unit operations and execute events in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operations across group companies and align execution with group objectives.
- Develop and enforce SOPs across all brands.
- Plan and manage exhibitions, pop-ups, activations, and other events across Qatar.
- Coordinate staffing, equipment, suppliers, permits, and event timelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor KPIs, costs, and performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management, brand leaders, and marketing teams.
- Lead, train, and oversee site managers and operations teams.
- Manage operational risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Maintain customer experience and brand representation standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of operations management experience, preferably across multiple business units.
- Experience in event operations, exhibitions, pop-ups, or large-scale activations.
- Background in SOP development, process optimization, and team leadership.
- F&B, retail, or service-industry experience is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, commercial, financial, and operational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
