Job Purpose
Officer – ULD & Projects role is responsible of coordinating the ULD movement between stations by controlling the process to ensure the continuation of providing equipment necessary at all various operating sites and in appropriate time schedule.
Job Accountabilities
- Support plans the best way to allocate and manage Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and equipment at all stations. This includes predicting demand based on flight schedules, cargo volumes, and seasonal trends to ensure we have enough ULDs and equipment available, reducing delays and improving efficiency.
- Assist in tracking and managing the movement of ULDs between stations to make sure they are used effectively and are available when needed.
- Ensure that all airports receive the necessary ULDs and equipment on time.
- Make sure ULDs and equipment are ready for scheduled flights and that all supplies are delivered to airports before cargo flights start.
- Keep accurate records of how ULDs and shipping containers are allocated, transferred, and moved, and ensure these records are updated regularly.
- Monitor the return of borrowed equipment and manage invoices and payments for lent items.
- Ensure that all information about equipment and ULDs is entered into the system and kept up to date.
- Help resolve any equipment-related issues that stations may encounter.
- Work with other teams to ensure that any special requirements are coordinated effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree Operations Management, Logistics, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in the same or similar field.
