Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for web applications
- Conduct web application audits
- Perform mobile application penetration testing (iOS & Android)
- Conduct source code review and software assurance maturity audits
- Perform red teaming and infrastructure security assessment
- Perform internal and external penetration testing
- Conduct vulnerability research
- Populate the VA and PT knowledge base with new learned techniques, attacks or zero day findings
- Update the Help AG penetration testing guideline by documenting newly added attacks and procedures
- Attend technical customer meetings
- Research new threats
- Perform security assessments independently
Requirements
- Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science or relevant degree
- 3 4 years of experience as a penetration tester
- OSCP or OSCE certified
- Knowledge in web based programming
- Technical writing skills
- Software development ability
- Good vision, creativity, and problem solving skills
- Effective presentation and communication skills
- Fast learner with ability to quickly grasp new concepts and tools
- Self motivated with eagerness to learn and grow

Role Overview
- Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Offensive Security Consultant who will be involved in a wide range of activities related to cybersecurity and penetration testing.
- Key areas include vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for web applications, web application audits, mobile application penetration testing (iOS & Android), source code review, red teaming, infrastructure security assessment, and vulnerability research.
Responsibilities
- Perform the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing as per Help AG’s methodology and scope of the assigned project.
- Populate the VA and PT knowledge base with new learned techniques, attacks or other zero day findings.
- Update the Help AG penetration testing guideline by documenting the newly added attacks and procedures to the methodology.
- Attend technical customer meetings.
- Research new threats.
- Perform security assessments independently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science or relevant degree.
- 3 4 years of experience as a penetration tester.
- OSCP or OSCE certified.
- SANS certifications are optional.
- Knowledge in web based programming.
- Technical writing (including articles, demonstrations, reports and technical blogs).
- Software development: the language is not important; we look for the ability to quickly adapt to any language as needed.
- Good vision, creativity, and problem solving skills.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and tools.
- Self motivated with eagerness to learn and grow.
