About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall day to day academic and operational functions of the Early Childhood Centre
- Deliver the vision of the group, maximize enrollment, recruit and develop staff, oversee financial systems
- Develop and deliver a balanced EYFS/IPC curriculum underpinned by play based activities, Reggio Emilia and Curiosity Approach
- Ensure premises are maintained at highest quality standards and compliant with SPEA, SEHA, Sharjah Municipality regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or Level 5 vocational qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Early Childhood setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of childcare requirements and regulations
- Previous success in managing an Early Childhood Centre
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and outstanding work ethic

About the Opportunity
- Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join our Early Childhood Centre in Sharjah.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall day to day academic and operational functions of the Early Childhood Centre including delivering the vision of the group; maximising the number of children on roll; recruitment, retention and development of staff; overseeing day to day financial systems.
- Develop and deliver a balanced EYFS/IPC curriculum, underpinned by developmentally appropriate play based activities, Reggio Emilia and Curiosity Approach enriched by Fortes’ Accelerated Learning programmes.
- Ensure that the premises are maintained at the highest quality standards and are compliant with the regulations of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), SEHA, Sharjah Municipality, and other government authorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or professional certification i.e. Level 5 vocational qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood setting.
- A comprehensive knowledge of childcare requirements and regulations and previous success in managing an Early Childhood Centre.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and an outstanding work ethic.
