Position Overview
MPH is seeking an NDE Specialist for a client pipeline package project.
The position is located in Dubai, UAE, with a start date of October 2026.
The assignment has a 24-month duration and may be extended.
The work status is residential and single.
Qualifications and Experience
- Gas midstream experience is required.
- An engineering degree is preferable.
- PCN Level III or equivalent is required as a minimum in PAUT, TOFD, UT, PT, MT, and RT methods.
- The candidate must be conversant with engineering, procurement, and construction phase activities.
- Experience with piping, valves, pipelines, and related products is required.
- Experience handling engineering and procurement QA/QC processes and vendor purchase orders from TBE to IRN with minimal supervision is required.
- Experience with the full pipeline construction sequence and related NDE activities is required.
- Expertise in AUT, TOFD, and PAUT, including ECA, calibration, and validation requirements, is required.
- Conversance with conventional RT, UT, PT, and MT methods is required.
- The required certification must have been continuously held for at least 10 years.
- The candidate must be capable of performing manual and advanced UT methods to cross-check contractor performance.
- At least 15 years of hands-on experience on major onshore pipeline projects and sour gas pipelines in Region 3 is required.
Job Dimensions
- Own and manage all NDE activities in the project pipeline package.
- Act as the NDE focal point for the project's pipeline package.
- Maintain quality management systems and promote best practices and continuous improvement.
