Role Definition
- Provide 24x7 monitoring, identify incidents quickly, perform initial troubleshooting, communicate effectively, and escalate issues when required.
Daily Duties
- Monitor all Wireless & NTN network elements.
- Monitor alarms across RAN, Transport, Core, & Satellite infrastructure.
- Continuously monitor KPI Dashboard, Alarm Dashboard, Network Health Dashboard, Service Availability, OSS/CNC Platforms.
- Acknowledge alarms immediately, validate legitimacy, suppress duplicates, create incidents for validated alarms.
- Open incident tickets, assign correct priority/severity, document troubleshooting, maintain accurate ticket updates, ensure SLA compliance.
- Verify device reachability, escalate according to escalation matrix, notify Tier 2, vendors, field operations, escalate major outages immediately.
- Send outage notifications, update management bridge, participate in bridge calls, update internal chat channels, provide shift updates.
- Monitor maintenance windows, validate change success, perform post change health checks, identify rollback conditions.
- Update incident notes, maintain shift logs/handover template, record recurring alarms, document known issues, establish DCAP user credentials.
