The Role

The Night Manager oversees overall hotel operations during the night shift and ensures a safe, consistent guest experience aligned with ultra-luxury service standards.

The role has overall oversight of Front Office and hotel operations overnight and coordinates with all departments to support guest needs and operational requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee smooth and efficient hotel operations across all areas during the night shift.
  • Own overnight Front Office activities, including arrivals, departures, guest requests, complaints and service recovery.
  • Conduct hotel rounds and monitor cleanliness, safety, security and service standards.
  • Support departments during the night and coordinate effectively across overnight teams.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism, discretion and emotional intelligence.
  • Apply luxury hospitality, LQA, Forbes and The Ned service standards to guest interactions.
  • Use knowledge of Qatari culture, local customs, facilities, services, operating hours, events and food and beverage offerings to support guests.
  • Coordinate with Security to maintain a safe environment and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Follow operational standards, policies, procedures and LQA requirements throughout the night.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Night Manager or in a senior Front Office or Rooms Division role within a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel.
  • Strong experience in overnight hotel operations and Night Audit procedures.
  • Previous experience with OPERA PMS is required.
  • Strong understanding of Front Office, Finance and Night Audit procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving and service recovery skills.
  • Strong knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards and luxury guest service.
  • Good understanding of Qatari culture, local customs and guest expectations.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and manage multiple situations during the night.
  • Arabic is preferred, while excellent English is required.
  • Previous experience in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
