Job Description
The Night Auditor role is based at Rose Rayhaan by Rotana in Dubai.
The position conducts night audits and prepares summaries of rebates, paid outs, and daily revenue reports.
Responsibilities
- Read the Night Auditors Logbook for instructions from the Income Auditor.
- Verify approvals for complimentary rooms, late checkouts without charges, and day-use room charges.
- Print business call journals and verify authorization vouchers for long-distance calls and faxes.
- Verify concessionaire guest ledger charges against summaries.
- Verify room rate variance reports and post room and tax charges for the day.
- Print revenue reports, split service charge and tax for room revenue, and reconcile reports with supporting vouchers.
- Export Micros revenue to Opera live data and run the pre-audit backup.
- Run file maintenance and prepare the daily revenue report.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in hotel management or accounting.
- At least one year of previous experience within a hotel environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an asset.
